RELCO is a proud supporter of Albia's Chamber of Commerce. Though we do not derive any revenue from the local community, our values highlight the importance of heping to build the communities where we have facilities. RELCO cooperates with Albia's Chamber by providing good jobs, preferential support for locally owned business, and funding for community business events.
RELCO second locomotive (circa 1960) was donated to the Monroe County Historical Society & Museum and is on display all year at the museum's 'railyard' located on 2nd Street in Albia, Iowa. We are pleased to share such an important part of our history with community.
As part of its committments to Excellence and Community, RELCO is proud to support the next generation of leaders. Monroe County's 4H programs provide an excellent launching pad for young ones to learn new skills and accept new challenges.
RELCO support both academic and athletic programs. The Albia community is very proud of the accomplishments of its highschool sports teams, and we are pleased to support these programs too.
RELCO's commitment to the community extends to supporting charitable organizations who help those in need. RELCO, and RELCO's employees, have generously donated during the annual food drive campains organized from our Albia Production and Albia Square facilities.
RELCO is a proud sponsor of Albia's Resotration Day Festival celebrating the town's accomplishments, talent and civic pride. We value the Arts and this festival showcases the deep roots of Albia's arts and crafts community.
